Sense of Home

Feeling like home its such an unique sensation, the peace of feeling like thats exactly where you belong.

It´s amazin how attached we could be to an specific place, whether that´s in fact your house or somewhere you have spent a lot of time in.

In my case I have a strong belonging feeling to a few places, starting of course with the house that I grew up in.

This house is in a really small town, 300 habitants moreless, so it´s not actually a town where you can do a lot of things, but I remember everything that´s happened there, the good and the bad, and it´s impossible for me to not feel attached. I remeber that one time we considered the option of moving to another house and sell that one and how upset I was because if that happened I was never going to see that house again, luckily that never happened.

The second place that I feel like home is the school that I went to since I was 3 until 16. I spent so many hours there that it feels like a second home. All of the friends that I made which some of them I still keep to this day. I´m even still in touch with some of the teachers. In fact, whenever they told us to draw the place that we liked I draw the façade of the church thats in my school.

Campo de Criptana

The last place that I will talk about is the town where my father was born, specifically “el cerro”.

It´s a place that is geographically high and has a few windmills, it´s really beautiful and quiet if you go on the week.
